REDONDO BEACH, CA — The Ragin Cajun Cafe restaurant, which closed March 1 after about 32 years in the South Bay, is being relaunched with a different name and new menu.

The current owners, Steve and Lisa Hodges, who have owned the eatery, located at 525 S Pacific Coast Hwy, for more than 11 years, announced the news in a recent social media post.

"We will have a new name, a new look, with a new menu and the same awesome vibe you have come to know and love over these past 11 1/2 years here in Redondo Beach and 32 years in the South Bay," the post read in part.

"We aren't going anywhere," the post continued.

The owners have said that the rebranded restaurant would debut in the spring, but have given no exact date or timetable. On Thursday, a phone number listed for the restaurant rang without answer when called.

This story will be updated as more information becomes known.
