Parents Located After Young Child Found Alone At Redondo Beach Park

REDONDO BEACH, CA — The parents of a young child found alone at a Redondo Beach park Friday morning have been located, police said.

The Redondo Beach Police Department issued a public alert shortly after 10 a.m. seeking help identifying the family of a non-verbal boy who had been found at Andrews Parkette on Rockefeller Lane.

The child was described as a Black male between 4 and 5 years old who was wearing a diaper and a green pajama-style shirt.

A short time later, the city issued an update saying the child's parents had been located.

Police did not release any additional information about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
