Dylin Bruce's big night leads Huntington Beach football in win over Redondo Union (dailybreeze.com) — Redondo Beach football fans saw Redondo Union fall 28-14 at home to Huntington Beach, despite a strong 218-yard rushing night from junior Rocky Martinez. Special teams breakdowns, including three return touchdowns by Huntington's Dylin Bruce, proved decisive, and coaches say the Sea Hawks now need to clean up turnovers and coverage mistakes as they move deeper into the season.

Good Stuff restaurant has permanently shut down its long-running Strand Cam after repeated hoax bomb calls forced evacuations, with Hermosa police increasingly relying on help from Redondo Beach and other neighboring departments to handle these resource‑draining incidents.
   

4. The Econ Kid: Jude Wallis started trading stocks at 12. At 17, he created EconLearn.org, an advanced teaching platform being used at Mira Costa High and attracting attention nationwide. (easyreadernews.com) — A South Bay teen closely tied to Redondo Beach has built EconLearn.org, an advanced economics study platform now licensed by Mira Costa High and drawing thousands of users nationwide. With his father's Beach Cities Medicine practice based in Redondo Beach and early customers here, the 17-year-old blends stock-trading experience, classroom insight, and local mentorship into a growing education-tech business.
