Earthquakes, Including A 3.6 And Some Smaller Ones, Rock California On Sunday: USGS

HERMOSA BEACH, CA — At least four earthquakes, including a 3.6-magnitude and some smaller ones, rocked California on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The first quake hit shortly after 7:20 a.m. and could be felt in Walnut Creek, the New York Post reported.

Two smaller earthquakes, both of 2.6-magnitude, were registered in Westley at 10:20 a.m. and then again at 10:40 a.m.

A 3.6-magnitude earthquake shook residents in Hermosa Beach at around 11:40 a.m.

Another 2.6 quake hit Redwood at 3:10 p.m.
