One Dead, Wounded In Shooting Near Redondo Beach's Border
The wounded man suffered numerous gunshots to his lower extremities and was taken to a hospital in fair condition, police said.

LAWNDALE, CA — Authorities on Wednesday were investigating a shooting that left one man dead and another wounded in Lawndale.
The gunfire was reported just before 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 4700 block of West 152nd Street, near Inglewood Avenue and the border with Redondo Beach, said Deputy Caroline Rodriguez of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
One man was found lying in a driveway suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene, Rodriguez said.

The other man suffered numerous gunshot wounds to his lower extremities and was taken to a hospital in fair condition, Rodriguez said.
No information about the shooter was immediately available.
