Beware of counterfeit $$!

Be careful of the $$ you get from a Craigslist or garage sale. I consider myself pretty savvy but just got taken today (because I was in a rush) and want to get the word out there. 

The LA scammers know that local (RBPD and Torrance) PD don’t really care and the Secret Service only takes a report if over $1000. There is a lot of bad money being passed and if enough victims catch and report it hopefully the local PD’s will act.

Let me know if you know a Torrance detective who cares to actually pursue a hot case.

TIP

Feel: the ink is slightly raised on genuine. Feel the “20” on lower right and rub your finger nail. Also that same 20 ink looks good from straight on but green when angles.
