Coroner IDs Bicyclist Killed In Redondo Beach

REDONDO BEACH, CA – A bicyclist who was struck and killed by a car in Redondo Beach was identified Friday as Gregory Trawick, 52. Trawick died at the hospital, coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter said, and his hometown was not known.

The collision was reported at 9:16 p.m. Monday on Artesia Boulevard at Felton Lane, said Redondo Beach police Lt. C. Prestia.

The woman driving the car remained at the scene and cooperated with officers, Prestia said, adding that alcohol or drugs were not believed to have been involved in the collision. Her name was not released.
