In celebration of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026™, and in recognition of Torrance being the birthplace of AYSO Soccer, the Torrance Historical Society invited Miguel Salazar and Julie Randall, owners of Street Faire Antiques in downtown Torrance, to share their private soccer collection. Museum visitors are invited to immerse themselves in this curated collection, which highlights soccer’s global impact and lasting legacy. This exhibit kicks-off on Sunday, April 12 continuing through August 1.

The North Redondo Beach Business Association (NRBBA) announces the return of Springfest Redondo Beach, presented by South Bay Credit Union, April 16–19, 2026, at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Now in its 44th year, Springfest remains the South Bay’s largest family festival, combining classic carnival fun with a forward-thinking, community-driven approach to event production.Springfest 2026 features a groundbreaking educational partnership that places 175 Redondo Union High School (RUHS) students at the center of the festival’s design, marketing, and production through a real-world business and entrepreneurship program. Their work is supported by 20 student interns from RUHS, Mira Costa High School, Bishop Mongomery, and Lawndale High School, providing hands-on experience across marketing, operations, sponsorship, logistics, and event execution. In addition, the entire production and tech crew will be operated by Lawndale High School students.&nbsp;Over four days, the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center will transform into a vibrant festival destination featuring:
