Local Anchor has teamed up with South Bay Credit Union, the City of Redondo Beach, and local businesses and nonprofits for one last End of Summer Beach Bash.
This is the final chance to enjoy Seaside Lagoon before it closes for the season, and before it closes for renovations.
Families can get one more summer beach day in with live music, crafts, a photo booth, giveaways, and food trucks.

Have a free hour in your day and want to engage in a chat with friends? Please join our social chat via zoom from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month or in person on the second Monday of the month at 2 p.m. at the Joslyn Center. Conversation topics range from discussing favorite pastimes to sharing favorite books and movies. This is a time to converse, share and learn about others. Beach Cities Health District (BCHD), in partnership with the City of Redondo Beach, finishes out the summer with Zumba in the Park on Julia Field at Alta Vista Park, 715 Julia Ave. Instructors from BCHD’s Center for Health &amp; Fitness will lead all Free Fitness sessions.While there is no cost to participate, registration is required, either online at <a href="https://bchd.org/freefitness" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">bchd.org/freefitness</a> or at the event. Provided through a partnership between BCHD, South Bay Families Connected and Thelma McMillen Center, the Parent Chat offers its participants a confidential and supportive space to share their parenting challenges and successes.
