Casa Arigato Is Hidden Gem
This small Japanese cafe is a sister location of Casa Sushi Arigato, which is right next door.

I tried a few months ago, so it was only a matter of time before I tried its sister restaurant, .
It's a small cafe with a nice cozy and spacious patio that's perfect for those warm breezy days. The interior, on the other hand, is a bit tiny. There's not much space between the pastry case, the register and the tables; however, most of the time it's still quiet enough to study.
Aside from the sandwiches and pastries, there's also a limited Japanese menu that includes hand rolls and udon noodles—so if you're craving something different, this is the place to go.

As for me, I was going for a nice warm drink on a cool day after a hearty meal down the street. I ordered the vanilla latte ($3.50). A few moments later, the server brought my tall mug of steamy, hot coffee and a glass of water.
With its aromatic vanilla mixed with creamy milk, the latte was just the right amount of sweetness. The staff never made me feel rushed, so I finished the drink at my leisure. I would have never guessed that I would find a good coffee at a Japanese restaurant, but I'm so glad I found this small gem.
