Cat of the Week: Mr. Darcy
Mr. Darcy, named after Jane Austen's gentleman of "Pride and Prejudice" fame, is a calm lap cat.
In Jane Austen's book Pride and Prejudice, Mr. Darcy is the handsome gentleman who seeks and attains the hand of the heroine in the book. Like the character in the book, our Mr. Darcy is very handsome indeed and certainly a gentleman.
Mr. Darcy is an affectionate 8- or 9-year-old male cat who has been declawed. He has polydactyl toes, meaning "many toes," usually six or seven on each paw.
He is a calm fellow and would be great as a companion in a nice quiet adult home. Mr. Darcy is a lap cat, and would probably enjoy being the only cat in the house.
He is up-to-date on vaccinations.
