Cat of the Week: Sheeba

Sheeba is a beautiful 1 1/2-year-old black cat who was rescued from a diesel repair shop in Wilmington. She and her poor brother were covered in oil like birds in an oil spill. After several baths with dish soap and a lot of loving, Sheeba has blossomed into a sleek, pretty girl.

Sheeba is very playful and loves to run and play with her toys. She is very fond of wrestling with her housemate , who was featured in an earlier cat of the week article and is still available for adoption. They would make quite the cute black and white pair for loving family!

Because of her rough start in life, Sheeba needs a patient owner who will give her time to get used to a quiet household. With love, toys and treats—her favorite—Sheeba will soon become a wonderful companion.

Sheeba is up-to-date on vaccinations.
