The Center for Learning Unlimited and participating sponsors SKECHERS, Edelbrock Family Foundation, and Whole Foods Market Torrance are proud to present the 2nd Annual We Belong Family Festival on November 1, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Temple Menorah campus in Redondo Beach. Admission to and parking at the event are free.
“The We Belong Family Festival is a one of a kind event that brings kids from all different ages, schools, and South Bay communities together to celebrate the unique abilities of individuals within a fun, family-centered event,” said Ginny Erxleben, co-founder and Director of The Center for Learning Unlimited. Developed to provide an opportunity for families to participate in an event that is secure, easily accessible, and offers considerations for attendees with special needs (e.g., places to regroup, gluten-free food options), comfort and success are key goals behind the festival’s sensory friendly design. “This festival offers a safe and secure environment for families to relax and enjoy the day,” said an attendee from last year’s inaugural celebration.
