Coach and Del Amo Fashion Center Debut Virtual Experience to Celebrate Fashion Week

South Bay shoppers placed at the center of the runway action through an in-store VR experience at Del Amo Fashion Center's Coach store.

Coach will for the first time debut a virtual reality experience centered on its F/W 2017 show at New York Fashion Week: The Shows. South Bay shoppers will be placed at the center of the runway action beginning this week through an in-store virtual reality (VR) experience at the Coach store at Del Amo Fashion Center.

The virtual reality experience will be an all-access pass, offering perspectives from backstage to the front row and a sneak peek at new Coach products for the season.

“Our runway show is an opportunity to be our most creative and explore what makes Coach different,” said Stuart Vevers, Executive Creative Director, Coach. “Now technology allows us to share the unique energy of our fashion show with a much broader audience.”

Additionally, Coach at Del Amo Fashion Center will feature an exclusive item in celebration of this partnership. While supplies last, Coach shoppers who spent $300 or more will receive a “Wild Rexy” bag charm as a gift with purchase. This item will be featured in the VR experience as well.

“This experience aligns perfectly with our commitment to exploring new, innovative and creative ways to engage shoppers and drive traffic to Del Amo Fashion Center,” said Lindsay Hermance, Director of Marketing and Business Development. “Through this collaboration, we are creating cutting-edge content that will elevate the shopping experience for the South Bay.”
