Cops ID Man Killed After He Was Dragged By Car In South Bay
"The victim grabbed the passenger door, and was dragged a couple of hundred yards before he fell off," according to a sheriff's statement.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – Authorities identified a man Monday who was fatally injured when he was dragged by his car as it was being stolen in front of a convenience store in Lawndale.
Luis Cuba, 47, of Hawthorne died at a hospital on Saturday night, the coroner's office reported.
According to the sheriff's department, Cuba parked his vehicle in front of the business in the 4400 block of Redondo Beach Boulevard about 8:25 p.m. Saturday, and then got out, leaving the engine running.

"As he was walking toward the business, unknown suspects entered the vehicle and began to drive it away," according to a sheriff's statement. "The victim grabbed ... the passenger door, and was dragged a couple of hundred yards before he fell off."
No suspect descriptions were released.
