Desert Daze 2017: Everything You Need To Know

Desert Daze is a three-day music and arts festival held on Oct. 12-15 at the Institute of Mentalphysics in Joshua Tree.

LOS ANGELES, CA - Desert Daze starts tomorrow, and like any festival there are a lot of rules to remember, things to pack, and schedules to plan. The festival runs from October 12-15 at the Institute of Mentalphysics in Joshua Tree, and features headliners Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile, Iggy Pop, and Spiritualized. Here's a round-up of everything else you need to know for the festival:

Getting There, Staying There

The institute of Mentalphysics is located at 59700 Twentynine Palms Highway, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. It's about two and a half hours South East of Los Angeles, and 2.5 North East of San Diego. At this point, there are a few options if you're trying to make last minute plans – camping, hotels, or an AirBnB. Camping at the festival site is convenient and probably your cheapest option: it's $112 (including fees) for four nights, and passes are still available.
