Employee Accused Of Soliciting Prostitution At Redondo Beach Spa
RBPD arrested a 40-year-old resident of temple city following reports of potential criminal violations at Lucky Spa in Redondo Beach.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — An employee at a Redondo Beach spa was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of soliciting prostitution at the establishment, police announced Wednesday.
According to Redondo Beach Police Department Lieutenant Jeff Mendence, community members voiced concerns about potential criminal violations at Lucky Spa located at 2299 190th Street. Upon further investigation, RBPD Special Investigations, Quality of Life and Code Enforcement Units found evidence that led to the employee's arrest.
The name of the suspect was not provided, but RBPD said they are a 40-year-old resident of Temple City. They were booked at the RBPD jail and the case will be presented at the prosecutor's office for consideration of filing criminal charges, according to authorities.

Massage businesses are regulated by the Redondo Beach Municipal Code Title 6 which requires compliance with health and safety standards that include lighting, hours of operation, licensing, accessibility and sanitary conditions, Mendence said.
