Etsy Shop Pops Up at South Bay Galleria to Bring One-Of-A-Kind Shopping Experience to the Community with Two-Day Special Event

South Bay Galleria has teamed up with the SoCal Etsy Guild to host an exciting two-day pop-up shop event on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, 2015. The SoCal Etsy Market will provide local South Bay shoppers with a unique opportunity to shop for one-of-a-kind items from local Southern California designers, handmade artisan crafters, artists, and specialty food vendors, all in one place, according to Sher Haddon, Marketing Manager at South Bay Galleria.

“As a leading shopping destination in the South Bay, we are thrilled to be collaborating with one of the top online shopping platforms for homemade goods in order to showcase these special local vendors and their unique products at South Bay Galleria,” explained Haddon.

According to the SoCal Etsy Guild organization, this special group was created to bring local like-minded artisans, handmade crafters and small business vendors together, in an effort to give them a larger platform to showcase their products, skills and talents, while sharing ideas, experiences and success.

“The SoCal Etsy Guild pop-up shop event will bring our shoppers something fresh and new to experience at the mall, while also supporting some incredible local artists and vendors, who will feature a wide-variety of products for sale,” adds Haddon.

In addition to the local vendor shopping, this special event will also feature fun DIY activities, live art, giveaways, and live music from local musicians, Triple Dog Dare and Katie Ferrara. SoCal Etsy Guild will also host a free kid’s craft table where attendees will enjoy creating fun crowns and Mother’s Day cards.

The SoCal Etsy Market will take place in South Bay Galleria’s Food Court, located on Level 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, and from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 3.
