DONATE GENTLY USED CLOTHING FOR MEN AND VETERANS RE-ENTERING THE WORK FORCE

  • Re-entering the workforce in today’s economy is difficult enough; now imagine not having the clothes to look the part.
  • The South Bay community is encouraged to support veterans and local men in need by donating gently used clothing at South Bay Galleria on Saturday, September 15, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 16, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
  • This is a chance to donate clothing that has been hanging in the closet unworn for years. Clothing donations will help men in need to obtain employment positions and provide them with clothing for everyday use.
  • The clothing drive at South Bay Galleria is being held in partnership with Designing Women South Bay, a women’s guild in support of Working Wardrobes.
  • Donations may be dropped off in an open retail space on level 3, near Nordstrom. All donated clothing must be in good condition, clean and on hangers.
  • Designing Women South Bay is an organization designed to empower men, women, young adults and veterans in life crises to confidently enter the workforce with career development and wardrobe services.

DATE/TIME: Saturday, September 15 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. & Sunday, September 16 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
