Meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
Consists of 7 members. Unless otherwise authorized by the City Council, one member shall be appointed from each Council district and two members shall be appointed at large. The Public Safety Commission shall advise the Mayor and City Council on matters relating to public safety, crime prevention and implementation of the Safer City Program as directed by the City Council. Any powers or duties assigned to the Crime Prevention Commission by the provisions of this Code or any resolution or directive of the City Council shall be performed by the Public Safety Commission.
