Fire Damages House In Torrance

No injuries were reported.

TORRANCE, CA – A two-story house was damaged by a fire in Torrance Monday, but no one was injured.

Firefighters sent to the 2100 block of 236th Street at 11:45 a.m. extinguished the flames in the two-story house in about 10 minutes, the Torrance Fire Department reported.

Officials closed a section of 236th Street from Arlington to Cabrillo avenues to accommodate the firefighting effort. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
