Fire Truck Donation, Vacancies: Redondo Beach City Council Agenda

Here's what's on the Redondo Beach City Council Agenda for the Tuesday, April 2 meeting.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – The Redondo Beach City Council will hold a meeting tomorrow, April 2. The closed session will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the open session will start at 6 p.m.

The agenda includes approving a donation of the Redondo Beach Fire Department's out-of-service fire engine to the El Camino College District Foundation. The 2005 American LaFrance fire engine was placed out of service, and the Training Director at the El Camino Fire Academy showed interest in acquiring the fire engine via donation – the Fire Chief is supportive of the donation, accordinig to the City Council Agenda.

The City Council Agenda also includes accepting a resignation from the Budget and Finance Commissioner Daniel Moroko. The Council will authorize the City Clerk to post the vacancy for the position, as well as for the vacant Recreation and Parks Commission position.
