First Bank Helps Show How Housing Works In Community
Torrance branch hosts special networking event for local non-profit organization

To create more awareness about Housing Works, First Bank’s Torrance, California branch (21705 Hawthorne Blvd) on March 17 hosted a special networking event for the non-profit agency.
During the event, business people and others in the community learned more about the many housing and service options Housing Works provides for the homeless.
Attending the event from Housing Works were Celina Alvarez, new Executive Director, Yasmin Tong, President, and Mary Kirchen, the founder. Yalda Noorzai, Vice President, Senior Branch Manager for First Bank, helped organize the event. She serves on Housing Works’ board as the Secretary.
