Fundraiser For Cop Shot In Leg Held At CPK Redondo Beach
The fundraiser is an all-day event and California Pizza Kitchen will donate 20 percent of the bill to Officer Gomez.
REDONDO BEACH, CA – The Hawthorne Police Department is hosting a fundraiser this Thursday, April 18 at the CPK in Redondo Beach for an officer who was recently shot in the leg.
Officer Gomez was injured in an officer-involved shooting the morning of April 7. He underwent surgery and is at home recovering, the Hawthorne Police Department said.
The fundraiser is an all-day event. Participants should bring a flier or mention the Hawthorne Police Department fundraiser for dine-in, takeout, drink and catering orders, and California Pizza Kitchen will donate 20 percent of the bill to Officer Gomez. The fundraiser is applicable at the Manhattan Village and Redondo Beach locations.

The Redondo Beach CPK is located at 1815 Hawthorne Boulevard, Redondo Beach, CA 90278. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday.
