Girls Cross Country Off to Nationals
The Lady Sea Hawks receive an invitation to compete in Nike Cross Nationals in Portland, Ore. this weekend.
Members of the girls varsity cross country team will be traveling to Oregon this week for Nike Cross Nationals on Saturday.
The team received and accepted the invitation to the national meet last Saturday—the same day they placed third in the , earning the third best team time of the entire meet.
"We are very proud of our cross country girls and coaches," said a note on the Run RUHS website. "What an awesome job representing Redondo!"

According to the Nike Cross Nationals website, the girls team qualified as an at-large competitor in addition to earning an "auto qualifier" spot.
In September, the Lady Sea Hawks captured the at Nike Pre-Nationals for the second year in a row.
