Harbor Cleanup Finished
City officials, workers and volunteers worked long hours. Now Mother Nature takes over.

The cleanup of the King Harbor Marina is complete, the city announced Monday on its Web site.
The City Council is expected to discuss the issue at its Tuesday meeting. The council will also vote on a proclamation declaring that the cleanup ended what was a local emergency when a large school of sardines died of oxygen depletion early last week.
On Monday morning, public works employees continued to scoop up dead sardines from beneath the surface of the water in the marina.
