January 3, 2015: Visit the Western Museum of Flight
Who wants to have fun with planes? Historic planes….cool planes….fighter planes…..Red Baron kinda planes….

The Western Museum of Flight is a treasure trove of aviation history located right here in the South Bay with numerous aircraft, exhibits and other displays, in addition to an extensive aircraft model collection.
The knowledgeable staff (all volunteers) are ex-military, pilots and aviation buffs. These men and women really know their stuff and I highly recommend taking the time for a guided tour.
It’s a hands-on experience kids of all ages are sure to enjoy and really, who doesn’t want to climb into the cockpit of a fighter jet?!?
Our fascination with airplanes doesn’t end with childhood. No matter the age, climbing into a cockpit is always a thrill.
When was the last time you pretended to be the Red Baron?
