Join Pediatric Therapy Network for Treating Autism Using Structured TEACCHing & Other Evidence-based Interventions

Unique Opportunity to Receive High Quality Continuing Education on May 21, 2016

On May 21, 2016, Pediatric Therapy Network will provide a unique opportunity to receive high quality continuing education. Their next training course titled "Treating ASD Using Structured TEACCHing and Other Evidence-Based Interventions" will be based on understanding the learning characteristics of individuals with autism and the use of visual supports to promote meaning and independence. Other evidence based interventions, such as anxiety reduction approaches, parent child interaction therapy, occupational therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy will be discussed.

The training will be led by Michele Villalobos, PhD who is an Assistant Professor and Director of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill TEACCH Autism Program in Asheville. Dr. Villalobos was trained as a Child Clinical Psychologist at the University of Utah and Yale Child Study Center. She completed her post-doctoral training at the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and University of Pennsylvanias Center for Autism Research.
