Language School turned Community Center: My Escuelita: Spanish for Kids

Almost 6 months ago I hosted a Grand Opening for My Escuelita: Spanish for Kids...a dual celebration for opening my business in Redondo Beach as well as a milestone birthday!

I couldn't wait to take a moment to Thank the many people that have continued to make My Escuelita a place where children come to learn Spanish, play, dance Salsa and Bachata, do yoga, read and write Spanish, read authentic Spanish books and much much more! 

But there is more...over the course of the past almost 6 months My Escuelita has hosted numerous "special events"....Author's Day, Storytime, Parent's Night Out, Meet Up Playdates, Little Ripples Preschool teacher training, Science lessons, Art Lessons, Musical Storytime....

In essence My Escuelita has evolved into a space used by everyone...for the purpose of practicing, learning Spanish as well as to meet other like minded folks who wish to share culture and language with their children. 

I get asked all the time...why do you do these special events? And its an easy answer....because it allows me to bring people together and be a part of their journey to learn Spanish.
