Man Fatally Shot Near Redondo Beach's Border ID'd
Luis Cifuentes, 25, of Lawndale died at the scene, the coroner's office said.
LAWNDALE, CA — Authorities Thursday identified a man who was killed in Lawndale in a shooting that left another man wounded.
The gunfire was reported just before 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 4700 block of West 152nd Street, near the border of Redondo Beach, said Deputy Caroline Rodriguez of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Luis Cifuentes, 25, of Lawndale died at the scene, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

The other man was taken to a hospital in fair condition, Rodriguez said. No information about the shooter was immediately available.
Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
