Man Hoisted To Safety After Being Trapped On South Bay Cliffside
The Los Angeles County Fire Department and other agencies responded late Sunday after a man was reported trapped and injured on a cliff.
PALOS VERDES CLIFFS -- The Los Angeles County Fire Department and other agencies responded Sunday night after a man was reported trapped and injured on a cliff, according to KTLA.
The incident unfolded after L.A. County lifeguards received a report of a person hanging over the side of a cliff. Search crews responded and eventually heard the man calling for help, then located him down the cliff in thick brush.

He was then guided to the base of the cliff, and an L.A. County Fire Department Air Operations helicopter hoisted him to safety, according to an L.A. County Lifeguards social media post.
The man's name and condition have not been released. Patch has reached out to the County Fire Department and County Lifeguards for that information and if it is obtained, this story will be updated.
