Man Injured In Fall Or Jump From Metro Platform In Redondo Beach
The Green Line train was just leaving the station when the man fell or jumped, police said.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — A person had non-life-threatening injuries Thursday afternoon after he jumped or fell from the platform at the Redondo Beach Metro station and made contact with a Green Line train.
The victim, whose age was not immediately available, was injured about 4:30 p.m. at the station at 5301 Marine Ave., according to Metro spokesman Jose Ubaldo.
The patient was taken to a hospital, but his condition was not immediately available.

Green Line service was initially halted, then resumed on a single track, he said.
