Man, Woman Killed in Apparent South Bay Murder-Suicide: Police
Both victims were found around 5 p.m. Friday in Carson about three blocks apart, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.

CARSON, CA -- The coroner's office Sunday released the name of a man who shot and killed a woman, and then killed himself in Carson on Friday.
The man was identified as Jorge Reyes Hernandez, 35, of Bellflower, said Investigator Rudy Molano of the coroner's office.
The woman's name will be released pending notification of next of kin, Molano said.

Both victims were found about 5 p.m. Friday about three blocks apart, according to Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
The woman was found in the 600 block of East Alondra Boulevard, near Avalon Boulevard, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body. She was pronounced dead at a hospital, said Deputy Trina Schrader.

Hernandez was found in the 15400 block of San Pedro Street with a single gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Schrader said.
He was inside a vehicle where a handgun was recovered, she added.
Although authorities said the shootings appeared to have been a murder- suicide, the relationship between the victim and Hernandez was not immediately known.
