Man's Body Found Between Two Railroad Cargo Cars In Torrance
The man's name or cause of death weren't immediately available.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – A man's body was found Tuesday between two railroad cargo cars in Torrance.
The body was discovered about 10:10 a.m. near Del Amo Boulevard and Maple Avenue, Torrance police Sgt. Ronald Harris said.
Information was not immediately available on the man's name or on his cause of death.

The shirtless body was found atop the couplings between two rail cars, Harris said.
The area around the tracks was closed while an investigation was conducted. Motor vehicle traffic was not affected, Harris said.

Coroner's personnel collected the body and will seek to make positive identification and determine the cause of death, according to the sergeant.
Police with the BNSF Railway were also involved in the investigation, Harris said.
