Memorial Hospital of Gardena Receives Gardena Police Foundation Community Service Award
Gardena, Calif. – Memorial Hospital of Gardena has announced that it recently received the Community Service Award at the Eighth Annual Awards Dinner of the Gardena Police Foundation on November 5th. The hospital was recognized for providing flu shots for the Gardena Police and Fire Departments and its continued outreach efforts with the Gardena Unified School District, YMCA and other community organizations.
The Gardena Police Foundation Awards are presented to individuals and companies who have demonstrated their commitment to the Gardena community, businesses and law enforcement.
“We are honored to be recognized by the Gardena Police Foundation for our efforts because it is our mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to our communities with consistency and compassion,” said Kathy Wojno, Administrator of Memorial Hospital of Gardena. “Our local first responders, teachers, and volunteers are the real heroes in our community, and we take tremendous pride in taking care of those who take care of us.”

Memorial Hospital of Gardena is a 172-bed acute care hospital which has provided high quality medical services to the city of Gardena and the surrounding areas of Los Angeles County for over 50 years.
