Mystery Shrouds Redondo Beach Man's Disappearance
Jeff Keidser has been missing for three weeks. His family is searching for clues that will lead to his return.
REDONDO BEACH, CA – Friends and family are frantically searching for Jeff Keidser, a 61-year-old Redondo Beach resident who was last seen January 23. Keidser's family is asking the public for help in locating their missing family member – their posts are widely shared on social media, but no new clues on Keidser's whereabouts have been found.
He was last seen driving his 2004 four-door silver Saturn with the California license plate number 6PCD694, according to his brother Mark Keidser.
Keidser is 6' tall, 180 pounds with blue eyes and thin, short hair, his brother said. He works as a dog walker and pet sitter, and was watching his sister's dogs at the time he went missing. Keidser took one of the dogs with him before he disappeared from his studio on Avenue C in Redondo Beach, Mark said.

"He's been struggling with delusional thoughts, and maybe thinks people are out to get him," Mark said. "We are so worried."
It was odd for Keidser to just "walk off," because he'd been talking about jobs coming up, he said. On Tuesday, Keidser's phone received a call from an unknown number so Mark called back in hopes for clues.

"The man was very evasive," Mark said. "But when I searched the phone number online, I saw the address connected to the phone number was close to where Jeff's car was last seen."
Keidser's family filed a police report with the Redondo Beach Police Department. They are asking the public to use the hashtag #HaveYouSeenJeffKeidser on social media to help spread the word about Keidser's disappearance.
He was last seen wearing a t-shirt and sweats (unknown color) and sandals, RBPD said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Redondo Beach Police Department at (310) 379-2477.
