UPDATE: Ocean Bacteria Warning Lifted For Redondo Beach
The L.A. County Department of Public Health had advised the public to avoid swimming, surfing and playing in Redondo Beach's coastal waters.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — The L.A. County Department of Public Health has cleared multiple coastal areas in the city for swimming, surfing and playing, after they had been closed due to elevated bacteria levels that exceeded state health standards.
"Warnings have been lifted for the following beach areas where recent sample results identified water quality levels within State (of California) standards," the Health Department said in a March 6 statement.
