Pancake House Offers Heavenly Breakfasts
The Original Pancake House in Redondo Beach serves up steaming mugs of coffee and delicious crepes, waffles and, of course, pancakes.

As we (hopefully) leave dark skies and dismal weather behind, it's time to start thinking about where to enjoy a great breakfast before a day of shopping, biking or lolling around the beach.
is just the spot. Specialties include the Apple Pancake, which is topped by a small hill of apples, cinnamon and glaze, and the Dutch Baby, an air-puffed confection served with lemon butter.
If you're watching carbs, don't. Close your eyes. These creations are too good to pass up and resistance is futile.

The Original Pancake House serves pancakes and waffles topped with fruit or basic eggs and meat combos, including homemade corned beef hash, all with pancakes on the side. The coffee is fresh and endless, service fast and friendly. The only downside here is that they do, alas, close the doors to new customers at 2 p.m.
