Pedone's Pays it Forward to Tulita
Twenty percent of the proceeds from Tuesday's sales at Pedone's Pizza in Riviera Village will go to Tulita Elementary School.
in Riviera Village is paying it forward to on Tuesday from 11 a.m. through the evening, according to a sign posted in the window.
Every Tuesday, Pedone's donates 20 percent of the day's proceeds—including those from take-out and delivery orders—to a local organization. Previous beneficiaries have included the Redondo Union High School girls soccer team, Riviera Hall in Torrance and , among others.
Money raised during the Tuesday events ranges from about $400 to more than $1,000.

No flier is required for people to participate.
The pizzeria sees the program as an opportunity to help out the community, according to a sign posted in the eatery.
