Bomb Threat Forces Building To Evacuate In Redondo Beach: Report

Multiple bomb threats surfaced at news outlets, government buildings, banks, libraries and other buildings across the country Thursday.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – Police received a report of a possible bomb threat at a Redondo Beach business in the 3700 block of Redondo Beach Boulevard Thursday, according to NBC. The building was evacuated, but police said they had determined there was no danger.

Police activity was reported in the 3600 and 3700 blocks of Doolittle and Redondo Beach Avenue Thursday morning and streets were closed in the same area, but have since reopened, police said.

The news comes amid multiple bomb threats that surfaced Thursday at news outlets, government buildings, banks, libraries, schools and other businesses nationwide, NBC reported. Many of the threats were sent by email. It was not immediately clear if the evacuation in Redondo Beach was linked to the email threats.
