Police Pursue Possibly Stolen Vehicle In The South Bay
A driver in a white cargo van is leading authorities on a chase through surface streets in multiple South Bay cities.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — California Highway Patrol Officers are in pursuit of a reportedly stolen white cargo van traveling throughout the South Bay.
According to reports from KTLA, the chase began around 2:35 p.m. when officers tried to pull over the driver, but they refused to stop.
The driver led authorities on surface streets in Torrance before making their way through Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, according to police.

Police followed behind the slowly-moving vehicle until it eventually came to a stop in Redondo Beach near Veterans Park. The driver attempted to flee following the end of the pursuit but was quickly taken into custody, KTLA reported.
No injuries to the driver, any bystanders or any officers were reported.
