Police Pursuit Ends In Crash In Redondo Beach

REDONDO BEACH, CA — A reported stolen vehicle police pursuit ended in a crash early Sunday in Redondo Beach, police said.

The driver crashed at 1436 Aviation Blvd. and police arrested the driver on suspicion of felony evasion and driving under the influence, Redondo Police Lt. Wayne Windman told Patch.

"It was a pursuit, it was a stolen vehicle," Windman said.

The car was reported stolen out of Fontana, Windman told Patch.

The suspect's name was not immediately available.
