Police Search For Missing 81-Year-Old In Torrance

The man, who suffers from early onset dementia, was last seen Tuesday.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – Police are searching Monday for an 81- year-old man suffering from early onset dementia who went missing in Torrance.

Francisco Candelario went missing at about 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of 169th Place in Torrance, according to Torrance police.

He was in a silver Honda Odyssey mini-van with a license that reads SKYLEE1.

Candelario stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds, and has gray hair, police said. He was last seen wearing a maroon and black Nike jacket, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call Torrance police at (310) 328-3456 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
