We all know a big earthquake is overdue for Los Angeles. What will we do when the BIG ONE HITS? We have had quite a few earthquakes lately but we never know when it will be the BIG ONE. All we can do is prepare ourselves the best that we can and learn how to take care of ourselves, our family and our neighbors in time of disaster. With the knowledge of preparedness and the skills learned from the Fire Department you will go into action when disaster hits!

CERT Academy #52! The class is provided by the Redondo Beach Fire Department, Thursday Night for 8 weeks. 1 night a week to be prepared to save your family. You will learn how to prepare for disaster and how to act to save lives and property during a disaster or emergency.

Class size is limited to 40 participants and registration is on a first come first served basis. Simply fill out the application and mail to the address shown on the application. Cost for Redondo Beach residents is only $40 and that includes CPR and First Aid Certification. The Fire Department is accepting applications but you need to Call the Redondo Beach Fire Department at (310) 318-0663 ext. 4338 to reserve a seat at this upcoming Academy.
