Redondo Beach Natives Make The Rolls Of Dean's Lists Nationwide

REDONDO BEACH, CA -- Five natives of the city have made the Dean's lists and honor rolls of universities across the country this school year, various reports show.

Ohio University, the University of Mississippi, the University of Rhode Island and the University of Saint Francis in Pennsylvania are among the institutions of higher learning that have reported Redondo Beach residents among those on their Dean's and Provost's lists this semester.

Among the honorees are:

• Ava Albano, who was named to the University of Rhode Island's Fall 2025 Dean's list. To be included on the list, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable, earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.
• Margaux Greely was named to the University of Mississippi's Fall 2025 Honor Roll. Greely, who's in the B.S. in Integrated Mktg. Communications program, was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
• Nicolasa Jacobs was also named to the University of Rhode Island's Fall 2025 Dean's List. Jacobs and Albano were two of more than 7,500 students, most of whom are from New England, who qualified for the List.
• Caylah Olay, majoring in Health Science, was one of 510 students named to the Dean's List at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. Saint Francis is the oldest Catholic-Franciscan college in the United States.
• David Travieso, an Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions student, has been named to the university's Fall 2025 Provost's List. The recognition is given to students who have a 3.5 or greater GPA and between 6 and 11.99 credit hours attempted for letter grades used to calculate GPA.
