Redondo Beach Police Search For Armed Robbery Suspect: Report

Police were trying to identify a man who reportedly threatened a victim with an assault-style rifle.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Police released a photo of a man on Tuesday being sought on suspicion of an armed robbery in Redondo Beach over the weekend, KTLA reported.

Police responded to reports of the robbery around 12:50 p.m. Sunday at a business at 2300 Artesia Boulevard, where a man reportedly demanded money from a victim with an assault-style rifle.

The victim was able to flee the scene and call police.

He was described as 6 feet tall with a mustache. He was last seen wearing a white hoodie, black pants and white shoes, KTLA reported.
