REDONDO BEACH, CA — City officials have scheduled a family‑friendly event where locals can meet some of the city's first responders.

A public safety open house is scheduled for 10 am-3 pm Sunday, March 8 at the Redondo Beach Police Department's main station, 401 Diamond St., Redondo Beach.

Live demonstrations, police station tours, UTV rides and plenty of food and sweets for kids are scheduled.
