Redondo Beach To Restore Historic Library For CA 101 Art Exhibit
The city will host an art exhibition in the community library, which remained empty during the pandemic.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — The Redondo Beach Historic Library will host an art exhibition in September after the building remained vacant since the beginning of the pandemic.
The Friends of Redondo Beach Arts will restore the space for a CA 101 art exhibit. Artists can enter their works for free through this application.
Community members are also welcome to attend the show at the historic library at no cost.

The exhibition will open on the following dates from noon to 7 p.m.: Sept. 2-5, Sept. 9-11 and Sept. 16-18.
The library, which first opened in July of 1930, sits on the beach next to the Redondo Beach Pier. It is on the National Register of Historic Places, which was established in 1981.
