Governor Newsom spoke a short time ago. In short, he stated that students will not return to school campuses at this time in counties significantly impacted by the COVID-19 virus, which includes Los Angeles County. We understand that distance learning may present a challenge to many families. We continue to address these concerns in our summer work, along with how we plan to deliver rigorous distance learning to our students in a consistent and effective manner until we can safely return to classrooms.

The RBUSD Safe Reopening Plan for the 2020-2021 school year will be shared later next week via email incorporating the Governor’s directive. We can assure you that we are working hard to create a clear and thorough plan that everyone can understand. We are also mindful that we will continue to receive new information that influences the Plan, which is strongly focused on safety for students, staff, and families. We thank you for your patience and care. Stay well and stay safe. Team RBUSD
