Redondo Beach Weekly Crime Blotter: Robbery, Thefts Reported Between Feb. 25-March 5

REDONDO BEACH, CA -- The latest weekly crime recap from Redondo Beach shows a small number of car thefts and robberies took place in the city in late February and early March.
According to the city's police department, there were two robbery cases during the week of Feb. 25-March 5, as well as one burglary and four car theft cases.
A white 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 sedan is believed to have been stolen between 6 pm on March 3 and 7 am on March 4 at the 2400 block of Vanderbilt Lane.

In the three other car thefts, the vehicles were recovered, police say.
One of the robberies was around 8:30 pm on Feb. 25 at the 2300 block of Vanderbilt Lane. According to police, the suspect was involved with a sales transaction from Facebook Marketplace; when he arrived at the negotiated location, he took the merchandise and pointed a gun at the victim, verbally threatened him and demanded his property.

The victim reported losing an iPhone 16 with a clear case and a Pokémon Charizard card. The suspect is believed to still be at large and is described as a male in his mid-20s, about five feet, 10 inches tall.
